Userback Pricing and What Userback Costs per Month in 2026
Userback publishes four prices and a quote-only Enterprise tier. Feedback is unlimited on every plan, and seats are unlimited from Business up. Here is what each plan adds, why the annual discount differs by plan, and how the pricing model changed from flat to per seat and back since 2024.

Userback pricing, read from a US connection on 25 October 2026, is $0 on Free (2 seats, 2 sites, feedback kept for 7 days), $29 a month billed annually on Team (5 seats, 5 sites), $79 on Business (unlimited seats, 25 sites, AI insights, session replay and surveys) and $159 on Business Plus (unlimited seats, 50 sites, mobile SDK, privacy controls). Monthly billing adds $10 to $40. Enterprise is quoted. The part worth knowing is the history: Userback has changed how it charges twice in 19 months.
How much does Userback cost?
A small team pays $348 a year for Team, a product team pays $948 for Business, and a company that needs mobile capture and masked recordings pays $1,908 for Business Plus. Here is everything the pricing page prints, with the yearly totals worked out:
| Plan | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Yearly cost on annual billing | Seats | Sites |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free Forever | $0 | $0 | $0 | 2 | 2 |
| Team | $29 a month | $39 a month | $348 | 5 | 5 |
| Business | $79 a month | $99 a month | $948 | Unlimited | 25 |
| Business Plus | $159 a month | $199 a month | $1,908 | Unlimited | 50 |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Quoted | Unlimited | Unlimited projects | |
Feedback volume is not a meter. Every plan, including Free, lists unlimited feedback collection and unlimited reporters (the people who submit feedback). What changes between plans is how long feedback stays in your account (7 days on Free, unlimited from Team up), how many sites you can run, and which features are switched on. Each paid card also carries a "Get started free" button, so you can try a plan before paying.
Is Userback free?
Yes, with a 7-day memory. Free Forever gives two seats, two sites, unlimited feedback collection and the core widget and browser extension, but you can only open feedback that is less than seven days old. For a team that triages every week that works. For anyone who wants to look back at last quarter's complaints, the first paid step is Team at $29 a month, which removes the time limit.
What does each Userback plan add?
The jump from Team to Business is the one that matters. Team gives you the widget, annotated screenshots and video, a feedback inbox, and two-way sync with Jira and ClickUp. Business adds the things most buyers actually came for:
- Session replay attached to every piece of feedback, plus console logs, network requests and custom data.
- User surveys with templates for NPS and CSAT, and behavioral targeting to decide who sees a survey or the widget.
- AI feedback and insights, which the page describes as pattern detection and sentiment measurement.
- Feedback automation (auto-assign, auto-replies), reply templates, a JavaScript SDK, custom branding and data export.
Business Plus adds the mobile SDK, advanced privacy controls that mask sensitive information in screenshots and recordings, and the option to record every user session rather than only sessions that produced feedback. That last item carries a "contact us for pricing" note on the comparison table, so full session recording is a quote, not a flat fee. Enterprise adds SSO, a dedicated support channel, invoice payment and a SOC 2 Type II report.
The Feature Portal, a public board where users vote and comment on requests, is a paid add-on on every plan: $31 a month billed annually or $39 monthly. On Team that makes the real price $60 a month if you want the portal, only $19 under Business, which includes far more.
The annual discount is not the same on every plan
Paying yearly saves 26 percent on Team ($29 against $39) but only about 20 percent on Business ($79 against $99) and on Business Plus ($159 against $199). The Feature Portal add-on saves about 21 percent. If you are weighing a monthly start against an annual commitment on Business, the annual saving is $240 a year, which is a little over three months of the annual price.
Userback price history, 2024 to 2026
The price you see today replaced two earlier ways of charging. We read dated copies of the pricing page to rebuild the sequence.
| When | How it charged | Entry plan | Middle plan | Top plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| June 2024 | Flat price, capped feedback | Starter $49 (5 members, 250 feedback a month) | None listed | Premium from $219 |
| March 2025 | Flat price, unlimited feedback | Starter $49 (5 members) | Company $109 (15 members) | Premium from $219 |
| August 2025 | Per seat | Team $7 a seat | Business $15 a seat | $23 a seat |
| October 2026 | Flat price, seats bundled | Team $29 (5 seats) | Business $79 (unlimited seats) | Business Plus $159 (unlimited seats) |
All figures are annual-billing prices per month from archived copies of the page, except the current row. The August 2025 snapshot is a single dated copy, so we cannot say how long per-seat pricing ran, only that it was live on that date. The June 2024 and March 2025 pages show monthly-billing prices of $69, $149 and $289 against the annual $49, $109 and $219.
The shape of the change is the useful part. Under the August 2025 per-seat model, a ten-person team on the middle plan paid $150 a month. The current Business plan costs $79 for any number of seats, so the same team pays about 47 percent less than it would have under per-seat rates, provided it needs what Business includes. A two-person team went the other way: two seats at $15 was $30, and the cheapest plan with the same tools is now $79.
Does Userback charge per seat?
Not any more. Team includes five seats. Business and Business Plus include unlimited seats. Free includes two. The seat count only constrains you on the cheapest two plans: the sixth person on Team forces a move to Business at $79, so the practical cost of a six-person team is $948 a year, not $348. If you are close to that line, price Business from the start.
What Userback does not tell you on the pricing page
Userback sells feedback capture and triage. It does not publish response volumes for AI features, and the page gives no limit on how many AI insights Business includes. Ask before you rely on them for a large backlog. It also does not say how long session replays are stored, or what the 7-day Free window does to old tickets when you upgrade. Ask whether history collected on Free is kept.
Two further points about comparing quotes. First, the comparison table marks some items "New" and "Popular" and one, Activity Logs, "Coming soon" on Business Plus, so do not budget for features that are not shipped. Second, integrations are tiered: Slack, Teams and project tools such as Jira and ClickUp are on all paid plans, but Intercom and Zendesk sync, email forwarding, REST API and webhooks sit on Business Plus.
Userback vs Usersnap on price
The closest comparison is Usersnap, the other widget-based visual feedback tool. Userback's Business plan at $79 a month with unlimited seats sits under Usersnap's Growth plan, which our Usersnap pricing breakdown shows at $129 a month billed annually. The plans are not feature-for-feature equivalents, and the two tools meter differently, so compare what your own team will use rather than the headline number.
How to choose a Userback plan
If your team is five people or fewer and you only need screenshots, video and a Jira sync, Team at $348 a year is enough. If you want session replay with each report, surveys, or more than five people logging in, buy Business and skip Team entirely. Take Business Plus only for the mobile SDK or masked recordings, both of which have a specific compliance or product reason. Start on annual billing for Team and monthly for Business if you are still testing, because the annual saving is largest on the cheapest plan.
Prices on this kind of page move without notice. A price-watching tool such as tracking competitor pricing pages automatically would have caught both of Userback's model changes the week they happened, which is how you avoid quoting a stale number in a budget request.
Where UserInsight fits
Userback captures what users tell you inside the product. UserInsight reads that feedback alongside everything else. Import a Userback feedback export as CSV, connect Zendesk or Intercom for support tickets, add app store reviews and survey answers, and UserInsight groups all of it into themes with the number of customers behind each. You see which problem is growing, which is tied to churn, and which ticket and review support it.
Plans are published and self-serve: Starter at $1,434 a year billed annually, Growth $4,314, Scale $10,794 and Enterprise $17,988, metered on AI analyses a month rather than seats or feedback items. Paste a sample of your own feedback into the tool at the top of this page to see the themes it returns.
The short version
Userback costs $29 a month on Team, $79 on Business and $159 on Business Plus when billed annually, with unlimited feedback on every plan and unlimited seats from Business up. The Free plan keeps feedback for seven days. It moved from flat prices to per-seat pricing and back to flat prices with bundled seats between March 2025 and October 2026, so check the date on any price you see quoted elsewhere.
