Customer analytics software that connects what customers do to what they say

Short answer

Customer analytics software collects and analyzes data about how customers behave and what they think, so a team can see who is engaged, who is at risk, and why. Most tools cover one half: behavioral analytics track usage, and feedback tools capture the voice. UserInsight is customer analytics software that does both in one place, joining product usage to support tickets, reviews, surveys and in-app feedback, then surfacing why customers churn and where they get stuck, with every finding traced to the events and messages behind it.

Customer analytics usually arrives in two disconnected halves. One tool tracks behavior: logins, feature adoption, retention curves, the what. Another collects the voice: NPS scores, reviews, support tickets, the why. Both are useful, and neither answers the question a team actually has, which is what to do next, because the behavior and the reason for it live in separate tabs owned by separate people.

UserInsight is customer analytics software built to close that split. It unifies product usage with feedback, surveys, support tickets and reviews, then the AI surfaces which segments are churning, where they stall, and the reason behind it, so a drop in retention arrives with a named cause rather than a mystery. It runs on aggregate, consented data with no PII exposed, and every insight links back to the exact events, tickets and verbatims that produced it, so the analysis reads as evidence rather than a dashboard you still have to interpret.

Why it works

What your team gets with customer analytics software

Behavior and voice, joined

Usage lives next to the tickets, reviews and surveys from the same customers, so every number arrives with the reason behind it instead of in a separate tool.

The why, surfaced for you

The AI flags which segments are churning and why, and where they stall, in plain language, so you do not have to build a report to find out.

Evidence you can trust

Every insight links back to the exact events, tickets and verbatims behind it, on aggregate, consented data with no PII exposed.

What it handles

Unified, analyzed and surfaced, automatically

UserInsight unifies your sources, reads behavior and voice together, and surfaces the churn reasons, feature requests, friction steps and themes, each traced to the signals behind it.

  • Unifies product usage with feedback, tickets, reviews and surveys
  • Surfaces which segments are churning and the reason why
  • Ties satisfaction and sentiment to real product behavior
  • Flags at-risk accounts before they cancel, with evidence
  • Keeps data aggregate and consented, with no PII exposed

Why UserInsight

One platform that fuses behavior and voice

Not an analytics tool that only shows the what, not a feedback repository that is blind to behavior. UserInsight joins both and surfaces the why, on aggregate consented data with no PII.

Unifies every source

Usage analytics, tickets, reviews, surveys and in-app feedback come together in one model, so behavior and voice finally live in the same place.

Surfaces the why

You do not write a query and wait. UserInsight tells you why churn moved and what to build next, ranked and quantified, the moment it changes.

Traced to evidence

Every insight links back to the specific tickets, reviews and events behind it, so you can click through and trust what you act on. No black box.

What is customer analytics software?

Customer analytics software gathers data about how customers behave and what they say, then turns it into decisions: who to keep, who is at risk, and what to fix. The behavioral side answers what customers do, tracking logins, feature use and retention. The qualitative side answers why, reading tickets, reviews and survey responses. Strong customer analytics needs both, because a retention number without a reason is a symptom you cannot treat.

The practical test of a customer analytics tool is whether it shortens the distance between a number moving and someone knowing why. A dashboard that shows churn rising but leaves the cause to a week of manual digging is measurement, not analytics. UserInsight is built for the shorter path: it joins behavior to voice and surfaces the cause automatically, with the underlying events and quotes attached.

What is the difference between customer analytics and product analytics?

Product analytics is a subset of customer analytics. Product analytics focuses on behavior inside the product: feature adoption, funnels, retention and the paths users take. Customer analytics is broader, covering the whole relationship: behavior plus the voice of the customer, satisfaction, support history and lifetime value, across the full journey rather than a single session.

In practice most teams start with product analytics because it is easy to instrument, then hit its ceiling: it explains what users did but not why they felt the way they did or what they will do next. Customer analytics adds the qualitative layer that answers those questions. UserInsight sits at that broader level, treating product behavior as one input among tickets, reviews and surveys rather than the whole picture.

What metrics does customer analytics track?

The core metrics fall into three groups. Engagement and behavior: active users, feature adoption, session frequency and retention by cohort. Satisfaction and voice: CSAT, NPS, CES, sentiment and recurring feedback themes. And value and risk: lifetime value, expansion, and churn or downgrade risk by segment. The point of good customer analytics is not to track all of them but to connect them, so a falling satisfaction score and a rising churn risk in the same segment read as one story.

UserInsight reports these together and, more importantly, links them. When a cohort's retention dips, it surfaces the feedback themes and friction points from that same cohort, so the metric and its explanation sit side by side instead of in two tools nobody reconciles.

Who uses customer analytics software?

Product, growth and customer experience teams are the primary users. Product teams use it to decide what to build by seeing which friction and feedback themes cost the most retention. Growth teams use it to find the behaviors and segments that predict expansion or churn. CX and success teams use it to spot at-risk accounts early and understand why customers escalate.

What these teams share is a need for the why, not just the what, and a limited appetite for writing queries to get it. UserInsight is aimed squarely at them: it surfaces the churn drivers, friction and themes proactively in plain language, on consented, aggregate data, so a PM, a growth lead and a success manager can each act on the same evidence without an analyst standing in between.

Good questions

Questions about customer analytics software

The best tool depends on whether your gap is behavior or the reason behind it. Dedicated behavioral tools go deep on usage; survey tools go deep on voice. UserInsight is built for teams that need both joined, surfacing why customers churn across usage, tickets, reviews and surveys, with every insight traced to its source.
Not with UserInsight. The churn drivers, at-risk segments and friction points are surfaced proactively in plain language rather than waiting on an analyst to write queries. Teams with data staff still go deeper, but the day-to-day customer questions answer themselves, each finding linked to the evidence behind it.
