Privacy policy

How UserInsight, the AI user insights platform that unifies usage, feedback, tickets, reviews and surveys, collects, uses and protects your information on this website. Last updated: June 2026.

The short version

This website is a marketing and signup site. We collect only the contact details you choose to submit, such as your work email, plus basic analytics and log data, so we can set up your account and talk with you about getting started. The product itself is built on a strict privacy posture: it operates on aggregate, consented data, with no PII exposure and no raw session replay of individuals. We never sell your data.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what we collect when you visit userinsight.ai, sign up, or otherwise contact us about the AI user insights platform that surfaces why users churn, what to build next and where users get stuck. It covers this website only. How user data is handled within any connected, production use of UserInsight is governed separately by the agreement and onboarding documentation established with each customer.

Our privacy posture in the product

We want to be explicit about how UserInsight treats user data when it is connected to your sources. It operates on aggregate, consented data only. There is no PII exposure and no raw session replay of individuals. The data remains the customer's at all times, access is least-privilege, and we do not sell it. UserInsight is GDPR-friendly by design, which is exactly why it clears procurement faster than tools that replay individual sessions. The interactive demo shown on this site runs on sample data only, so nothing of yours is connected here.

Information we collect on this site

  • Information you submit. The email address you provide when you sign up, and any optional details you choose to share, such as your name, team or what you want to learn. We use a short verification code to confirm your email.
  • Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we keep your name, email and message so we can respond.
  • Analytics data. Aggregate usage information about how the site is used, so we can understand which pages and channels are helpful and improve the experience.
  • Technical and log data. Standard information such as IP address, browser type, and the page or campaign you arrived from, used for security, fraud prevention and understanding traffic sources.

How we use your information

  • To set up your account and to follow up about getting started.
  • To verify your email address and respond to your questions.
  • To send you relevant product updates about UserInsight, where you have asked to hear from us.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To protect the site from abuse, fraud and security threats.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not stop you from using the site.

How we think about security

UserInsight is built for teams that care about their users' privacy, so security is a first-class concern. We design to minimize the data we collect, limit access to it, and keep any connected user data separate from this public website. We use encryption in transit and at rest and least-privilege access. For connected, production use, security review and the relevant data agreements are handled as part of onboarding. We do not claim any certification or status we do not hold.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate this site, such as our email delivery and analytics providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform their function. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and our users.

Data retention

We keep the contact details you submit for as long as needed to set up your account and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and security obligations. You can ask us to delete the information you have submitted at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to retain it.

Your choices and rights

You can access, correct or delete the information you have submitted, and you can opt out of non-essential email at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data, including rights under the GDPR. To exercise any of these, email us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and site evolve. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
