Short answer

Thematic and Unwrap both publish an entry price of about $25,000 a year. Thematic Foundation costs $25,000 a year for up to 25,000 comments and 3 datasets, and Unwrap starts at $24,000 a year, priced on monthly feedback volume and integrations and never by seat. Enterpret publishes no price and its pricing URL returns a 404. Vendr reports median contracts of $37,750 a year for Thematic and $36,302 for Enterpret, so plan on mid five figures for any of the three.

Unify · surface the why · traced to evidence

Thematic, Unwrap and Enterpret sell the same thing to the same buyer. A CX, support or product team has tens of thousands of open-text comments a month spread across surveys, tickets, chats and app reviews, nobody has time to read them, and leadership wants to know which themes cost money. All three vendors use AI to group that text into themes, track sentiment and tie themes to a metric.

What buyers usually cannot find is the price. Review sites still list a Thematic Starter plan at $2,000 a month that no longer appears on Thematic's own page, and at least one directory lists Thematic at $25,000 a month, a figure that is really its yearly price. Enterpret has never published a number, and Unwrap's floor is easy to miss because the plan card leads with "custom plans for custom needs".

So we read all three pages first-party from a US connection on 13 October 2026, wrote down exactly what each one says, and added the only independent contract data we could find: Vendr's published medians. Where a number is our arithmetic, the page says so.

Why it works

What your team gets with Thematic vs Unwrap vs Enterpret pricing

Two vendors publish a floor

Thematic prints $25,000 a year for Foundation and Unwrap prints a starting price of $24,000 a year. Enterpret prints nothing, and its /pricing address returns a 404. For a category that usually hides behind a demo form, that is more than most buyers expect to find.

The meter is comments, not seats

All three price on how much feedback you send them. Thematic counts comments and datasets, Unwrap counts monthly feedback volume and integrations, and Enterpret quotes on volume and sources. None charges per user, so the bill grows with your customer base, not your team.

Buyers sign above the floor

Vendr, a procurement company that publishes aggregate purchase data, reports a Thematic median of $37,750 a year, 51 percent above the Foundation list price. Its Enterpret median is $36,302. Budget for the median, then negotiate toward the floor.

What it handles

Unified, analyzed and surfaced, automatically

UserInsight unifies your sources, reads behavior and voice together, and surfaces the churn reasons, feature requests, friction steps and themes, each traced to the signals behind it.

  • All three pricing pages read from a US connection on 13 October 2026, including the plan table and FAQ behind the Thematic plan cards
  • A cost per comment for Thematic Foundation under both readings of its 25,000 comment allowance
  • Median and range contract values from Vendr for Thematic and Enterpret, labeled as third-party data
  • Which outdated Thematic prices still circulate on review sites, and why one of them is off by a factor of twelve
  • What each vendor counts as a unit of feedback, and what that does to a three-year budget

Why UserInsight

One platform that fuses behavior and voice

Not an analytics tool that only shows the what, not a feedback repository that is blind to behavior. UserInsight joins both and surfaces the why, on aggregate consented data with no PII.

Unifies every source

Usage analytics, tickets, reviews, surveys and in-app feedback come together in one model, so behavior and voice finally live in the same place.

Surfaces the why

You do not write a query and wait. UserInsight tells you why churn moved and what to build next, ranked and quantified, the moment it changes.

Traced to evidence

Every insight links back to the specific tickets, reviews and events behind it, so you can click through and trust what you act on. No black box.

Three-year figures are our arithmetic on each published annual floor with no increase applied. Vendr figures are third-party purchase data, not vendor prices. Thematic does not say whether its 25,000 comment allowance is per year or per month; see the cost per comment section below before you compare it with a quote.

Thematic pricing in 2026 plan by plan

Thematic now shows two plans. Foundation costs $25,000 a year and includes up to 25,000 comments, up to 3 datasets, full platform access, an assigned customer success manager and 24/7 support. Enterprise is a custom proposal that adds comment volume discounts, tailored onboarding, country-specific rates, full security support and what Thematic calls a partnership level of support.

The feature list is identical across both plans: thematic and sentiment analysis, the advanced analysis tools, dashboards and reports, workflows, the summarizer, Thematic Answers with its natural language interface, and the API and one-click integrations. You are not paying Enterprise money to unlock a feature. You pay it for volume, datasets and service.

Thematic defines a comment broadly: a review, an open-ended survey answer, a complaint, a chat interaction or a support ticket all count as one. A dataset is a spreadsheet, a survey pulled from a survey tool, or a feed from a CX, support or social platform. Its FAQ says one-click integrations, CSV uploads and the API cost nothing extra, and that it works best with at least 2,000 rows of verbatims.

The Thematic prices that are out of date

Search for Thematic pricing and the first results are Capterra and GetApp listings in several countries. They describe a Starter plan at $2,000 a month for up to 2,000 pieces of feedback from 2 sources, a Team plan with 50,000 pieces of feedback and 4 datasets, and an Enterprise plan starting at 100,000 comments. None of those plans appears on Thematic's pricing page as we read it on 13 October 2026.

A second directory lists Thematic at $25,000 per month. That is the Foundation price with the wrong period. At $25,000 a month a buyer would budget $300,000 a year for the entry plan, twelve times the real figure, and probably drop Thematic from the shortlist on a number Thematic never published.

If a procurement colleague brings you either figure, the current source is getthematic.com/product/plan-and-pricing. The short address getthematic.com/pricing returned a 404 page when we requested it.

What a Thematic comment really costs

Thematic lists Foundation's volume as "up to 25,000" comments without saying per what. That matters more than anything else on the page.

If the allowance is 25,000 comments a year, Foundation works out to $1.00 per comment. If it is 25,000 a month, the year holds 300,000 comments and the price is about 8.3 cents each. The two readings differ twelvefold, the same factor as the directory mistake above.

Thematic's own testimonials hint at the scale its customers run: one head of customer insights describes 20,000 monthly verbatims. A team at that volume sits just under a 25,000 monthly allowance, or nearly ten times over a 25,000 yearly one. Ask Thematic to write the period into the order form, and ask what happens when you cross it, because the Enterprise column's first line is comment volume discounts, which implies volume above the Foundation cap moves you to Enterprise.

Unwrap AI pricing and what it meters

Unwrap's pricing page leads with custom plans, then states a floor: flexible plans starting at $24,000 per year. Packages depend on your team's monthly feedback volume and the integrations you plug into Unwrap. The page makes one firm promise, that you will never be charged by seat, so anyone in the organization can use the insights.

The features listed for every team are SSO and Okta, user segmentation, HIPAA and GDPR compliance, API access, real-time alerts, tailored onboarding, a feedback responder, PII removal and multilingual support. HIPAA is the line that stands out: of the three vendors, Unwrap is the only one that names it on the pricing path, which matters to US healthcare, insurance and benefits teams whose tickets contain health information.

Unwrap offers a 30-day trial run on your own data. It also sells a Research Suite and SupportIQ alongside its customer intelligence product, so confirm which products the $24,000 floor covers before you compare it with Thematic Foundation.

Enterpret pricing without a pricing page

Enterpret publishes no price. Its /pricing address returned a 404 when we read it on 13 October 2026, the same result we recorded in September. The homepage routes buyers to try Enterpret on their own data through a demo, and positions the product as customer intelligence across support, product and sales conversations, including a revenue-at-risk view.

The best independent number is Vendr's. It reports a median Enterpret contract of $36,302 a year, with a range from $23,040 to $98,000. The bottom of that range sits right next to the Unwrap and Thematic floors, and the top shows how far a large deployment with many sources can run.

Without a published floor, the practical move is to ask Enterpret for its price at your current monthly feedback volume and at double it, in the same email. Two points show you the slope, and the slope is what drives year two.

Which is cheapest for your feedback volume

At list price, Unwrap's $24,000 floor is $1,000 a year below Thematic Foundation, and Enterpret has no list price to compare. That gap is small enough that it should not decide anything. What decides the bill is how each vendor prices the volume above the entry package.

Thematic publishes a cap, 25,000 comments and 3 datasets, so you can tell from the page whether you fit Foundation. Unwrap and Enterpret publish no cap, so the quote is the first place you learn what your volume costs. If your feedback volume is stable and fits Thematic's cap, Thematic is the easiest of the three to budget. If you expect volume to double, collect all three quotes at both volumes before you sign.

Over three years at the published floors, Thematic costs $75,000 and Unwrap $72,000 before any annual increase. Using the Vendr medians instead, Thematic runs about $113,250 and Enterpret about $108,906.

Who each vendor fits best

Thematic fits CX and research teams that run large survey programs and want to edit and steer the theme taxonomy themselves. Its human-in-the-loop approach, published plan table and broad definition of a comment make it the most transparent of the three to buy.

Unwrap fits teams with regulated data or many internal users. HIPAA on the pricing page, PII removal and the no-seat promise suit a healthcare or financial services support organization that wants everyone from support leads to product managers in the tool.

Enterpret fits product-led SaaS companies that want support tickets, sales call notes and product feedback joined to revenue, and that are comfortable with a quote-only purchase.

Where UserInsight fits on price

UserInsight reads the same kinds of text, support tickets, survey answers, app and G2 reviews, and groups them into themes with the number of customers behind each one. The difference is that it also reads product usage, so a theme comes with what those customers did in the product and whether they churned.

It is sold self-serve on published plans. Starter is $1,434 a year billed annually, Growth $4,314, Scale $10,794 and Enterprise $17,988, or $2,998 a month billed monthly. UserInsight meters AI analyses rather than comments, so compare it on the job you need done, not unit for unit. For a team whose budget does not stretch to a $24,000 floor, or that wants to start next week without a sales cycle, it is the shortest path to the same answer.
